UETTDRRF06B Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel & CPR

The course is designed to teach you to conduct a safe rescue of a casualty who has received an electric shock or personal injuries while working on Low Voltage conductors or equipment. This course also provides participants with the knowledge and skill required to competently provide CPR on an unconscious casualty safely.

Using a Low Voltage Rescue Kit, participants will learn how to use the equipment competently to successfully carry out a rescue. These are guidelines and apply to rescue in normal work situations as well as cable pits, substations and switchboards.

The definition of Low Voltage is 1000 volts or lower AC or lSOOV DC.

To ensure skills are kept up to date, Low Voltage Rescue & Resuscitation procedures should be revised and practiced every six months.

Course Delivery

Our course is flexible in delivery and we provide theory based reading booklet (Learner Guide) to be studied by participants prior to the practical session. We anticipate the pre - learning required may take 1-2 hours depending on participants.

To ensure the integrity of our assessment process there is no online assessment completed, however written assessment and progressive assessments will take place during the practical session.

Certificate Issued

On the day after successful completion of the training course.

This is subject to reading being completed prior to the training and the USI details to be provided to the RTO 40407: 24hours prior to the training being delivered for verification. If the USI details has not been forwarded to us in the due time, we cannot guarantee that your certificate will be issued on the day
